HELLO

TRAVELThis year started so well. I travelled from mid January to mid March; from London to New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka and back to London, where I’m based. I could have never imagined that my last few days in Sri Lanka in March would be the last this year of living without the fear of Covid19 all around me.
NEW SKILLSLife has changed for everyone and surprisingly for me its been a time of acceptance and growth. I have spent too many hours in front of a computer screen learning from creatives all over the world! I could never have predicted that I would enjoy learning new creative skills from my own home. Ive always been very sociable and needed to be alongside others to create. I will always enjoy the stimulation of a collaborative piece of work, but I know now that I can also spend hours alone and feel fulfilled and productive.
CLOTHI have been lucky that in between ‘lockdowns’ I’ve been able to use the Textile Studio @committedtocloth. So I have produced quite some meterage of handprinted cotton fabric. I tend to photograph details from these fabric pieces to produce digitally printed fabric too.
